The City of Missouri City posts legal and public notices as required to State Law. The City posts notices on the City's website (see below) and the City's official newspaper, the Fort Bend Independent newspaper. Notices may also be published in the Fort Bend Herald or Houston Chronicle.

Bid Opportunities The City of Missouri City utilizes both the State of Texas Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) and Onvia/Demandstar, to provide ESBD and/or Demandstar bidders with automatic notification and transmittal of bid solicitations. In addition, ESBD provides access to bid opportunities with other State of Texas university and governmental entities, at no charge.

The City Council of the City of Missouri City will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the City Council Chambers - 2nd Floor, City Hall Building, 1522 Texas Parkway (FM-2234), Missouri City, Texas at 7:00 p.m.
To receive comments for or against a request by Lisa Miller, Eco- Site for a Specific Use Permit to allow for the continued location of a religious place of assembly and to allow for the location of a telecommunications tower and associated equipment, and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom.

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Missouri City will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the City Council Chambers – 2nd Floor, City Hall Building, 1522 Texas Parkway (FM-2234), Missouri City, Texas at 7:00 p.m.
To receive comments for or against a request by Jils Skariah, Trimcos to rezone a tract of land from R-4, patio-cluster residential district to PD, Planned Development District to allow for the development of a multifamily residential community for active, independent senior adults; and to the extent such rezoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom.
