Created to fulfill the vision of the Missouri City Juneteenth Celebration Foundation (MCJCF)-to enhance the quality of life of Fort Bend County residents through education, historical & cultural awareness, music & entertainment and the encouragement of family values from an African American perspective. A full day of events & activities are planned with family in mind for this day in the park. The carnival opens at 12 Noon with various interactive games, rides and entertainment. On the big stage, a fashion show featuring young adult fashions, a dance contest and "tween's" musical performances with our "Streets Got Something to Say!" entertainment segment. At dusk, a featured film selected with family friendly content will be shown & many specialized food vendors will be on hand with the munchies.
