Senior Casino Trip

  • What: A fun-filled bus trip with friends to the Naskila Gaming Casino! Space is limited. 
  • When: Thursday, Sept. 9
  • Time: Check-in at 7 a.m., Bus Departs at 7:30 a.m.
  • Location: Naskila Gaming Casino
  • Meet: Recreation & Tennis Center, 2701 Cypress Point Dr.
  • Cost: $20 Transportation Fee

Family Fun Night: Laser Tag

  • What: Join in a little family competition at the Family Fun Night Laser Tag event!
  • When: Friday, Sept. 10
  • Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Location: Community Center; 1522 Texas Pkwy.
  • Cost: $10 per group of 5

7v7 Flag Football Tournament

  • What: It’s a flag football tournament. Guaranteed four games.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 11
  • Time: 9 a.m. to noon
  • Location: Hunters Glen Park, 1340 Independence Blvd.
  • Cost: $160 per team

Senior Bingo

  • What: Great prizes and a light breakfast at Senior Bingo! Grab your friends and join the fun. 
  • When: Thursday, Sept. 16
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Location: Recreation & Tennis Center; 2701 Cypress Point Dr.
  • Cost: $5

MCTX Oktoberfest

  • What: Enjoy costume contests, wiener dog race, beer stein hoist and more!
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 18
  • Time: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Location: Quail Valley City Centre, 2800 La Quinta Dr.
  • Cost: FREE

Blood Drive

  • What: Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s mobile unit will be stopping by. Sign up to save a life!
  • When: Thursday, Sept. 23
  • Time: Noon to 4:30 p.m.
  • Location: Recreation & Tennis Center, 2701 Cypress Point Dr.
  • Cost: FREE to save a life!

Kid’s Day Out!

  • What: What to do with the kids when out of school? Have a Kid’s Day Out!
  • When: Friday, Sept. 24, Thursday, Oct. 7 and Friday, Oct. 8
  • Time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Location: Community Center, 1522 Texas Pkwy.
  • Cost: $25 per child

Outdoor Explorers Workshop: Kid Fish

  • What: It’s the Annual Kid Fish event! Learn the basics and compete to see who can reel in the biggest fish.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 25
  • Time: 10 a.m. to noon
  • Location: Community Park, 1700 Glenn Lakes Ln.
  • Cost: FREE

Mother Son Challenge

  • What: Many challenges: Nerf gun battles, obstacle course, minute to win it, games, prizes and a photo booth. For ages 5 to 14.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 16
  • Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Location: Roane Park, 1440 Turtle Creek Dr.
  • Cost: $15 Mom/Son Pair; $5 for additional son

Tricks & Treats In the Park

  • What: Participate in the festivities along the Tricks & Treats trail
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 23
  • Time: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Location: Buffalo Run Park; 1122 Buffalo Run Blvd.
  • Cost: FREE 

Outdoor Expo & Family Campout

  • What: Gather the family and explore exciting activities in the park at the Outdoor Expo. After the expo, plan to stay around and experience a Family Campout!
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13
  • Time: Outdoor Expo: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. | Camping Check In: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Location: Community Park, 1700 Glenn Lakes Ln.
  • Cost: Outdoor Expo: FREE | Family Campout: Bring your own dinner or pay $5 per person for a hot meal.
