If your family is looking forward to some Spring fun or preparing for Spring cleaning, make plans to attend two of Missouri City’s most popular community events.
The first Egg Palooza will roll into Community Park on Saturday, March 31 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For children 1 through 12, egg dashes will be held on Baseball Fields 2 and 3. The search for colorful plastic eggs filled with candy, toys and prizes will be held at the following times:
? 1:30 p.m. on Field 3 for 1- to 4-year-olds? 2:30 p.m. on Field 2 for 5- to 8-year-olds? 3:30 p.m. on Field 3 for 9- to 12-year-olds
**Please bring baskets and bags to place your treats in.**
The free event will also feature photos with the Bunny taken with your personal camera, music, a petting zoo, Bounce Houses and roller-skating—bring yours or we’ll have inline and child- and adult-size skates available for use on a first-come, first-serve basis. Food will be available for purchase. Community Park is located at 1700 Glenn Lakes Lane; for more information, call 281-403-8637.
And, clear out your closets for the Spring Garage Sale on Saturday, April 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at the City Hall Complex, 1522 Texas Pkwy. If it rains, the event will be held on Sunday, April 15. Booth registration is under way and must be done online at www.missouricitygreen.org. Spaces are $20 and all proceeds will benefit Missouri City Green, the Keep Texas Beautiful affiliate for Missouri City, which focuses on local projects that promote recycling, tree planting and environmental education.
