This year, Public Service Recognition Week is May 8-12, and Missouri City is hosting activities to honor its public service employees and their pride, professionalism and commitment to service. Highlights on the 2017 agenda include:
Nationwide, the week provides government agencies an opportunity to showcase the tireless efforts of public employees. In the “Show Me City”, City Council and senior management want staff to know their dedication to duty and diligence and to following the City’s newly implemented mission, vision, credo and code of ideals is valued in public safety, road maintenance and revitalization, parks’ programs and preservation, citizens’ communications, legal affairs and courts administration, planning and development, economic development, fiscal management, floodplain administration, stormwater oversight, information technology and human resources and organizational development.
All non-emergency City Hall Offices will be closed on Wednesday, May 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Friday, May 12 from noon to 5 p.m. in honor of Public Service Recognition Week.This includes:
