Bobby Marshall is a 17-year resident of Colony Crossing in Missouri City. In addition to his duties as City Councilmember, he also serves as President and Treasurer of the Colony Crossing Homeowners Association. Marshall owns an office supply and printing business in the community.

Prior to his election, he served as Commissioner of the Missouri City Planning and Zoning Commission, Chair of the Missouri City Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, Vice Chair of the Missouri City Community Development Block Grant Committee, Treasurer of the Missouri City Police and Fire Auxiliary, and Board member of M.U.D 122.

In addition, Marshall has been a member of the Quail Valley Acquisition Feasibility Committee and the Public Safety Subcommittee. He was a Precinct Alternate Election Judge for 25 years and a Little League Volunteer for 35 years, including serving as a Little League World Series Umpire in 2005.

He has been married to Vanessa for 26 years, and they have two children, Robert and Kristin.
