Support Services
The Missouri City Police Department Support Services Division consists of three sections: Records, Communications, and Radio Systems. The Support Services Division is under the daily supervision of the Support Services Captain John Bailey who reports to Assistant Chief Larry Capps.
Records
The Records staff consists of four Records Technicians and one Records Supervisor. They are responsible for completing and maintaining all accident reports, offense reports and other police records.

Communications
The Communications staff consists of a Communications Supervisor and fifteen telecommunications Officers (TCO). The Communications section provides twenty-four hour emergency and non-emergency services to the fire, police and animal control areas. They handle computer aided dispatch systems for the Police and Fire Departments and are designated as the 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the Missouri City area.
The communications center utilizes a state-of-the-art 800 MHz trunked radio system. The center has the ability to coordinate all communications with other host computers, such as FBI-Washington, DPS-Austin, the Harris County Sheriff's Office, and the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office. The communications center maintains all warrants of the Municipal Court for the warrant officers and handles calls from other agencies concerning outstanding warrants.
Radio Systems
The Radio System Manager, who reports to the Support Services Lieutenant, supports the radio system. The Missouri City radio system consists of the 800 MHz trunked radio system and a 402-foot radio tower. The City of Missouri City and the City of Sugar Land jointly own the radio system. Missouri City hosts and provides radio communications for numerous public safety entities throughout Fort Bend and Harris County.
