Floodplain Maps

Know Your Flood Risk. The city is currently working in conjunction with Fort Bend County, Harris County and FEMA to update the official FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). Updated maps are expected to be published near the end of 2008/early 2009 time frame.

The most current FIRMs were published in January 1997. The following 1997 floodplain maps cover the areas within the city limits of Missouri City. For flood-related information outside of the city limits, please contact your local floodplain administrator.
