  2. Parks Board Meeting

    The Parks Board meets on a regular basis on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Board consists of 13 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. This Board serves in an advisory capacity to City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Missouri City residence is required to be a member.   3. Public Hearing - HUD Community Development Block Grant Program

    Missouri City will hold a public hearing to give all Missouri City residents an opportunity to voice opinions on the City’s HUD Community Development Block Grant program. We are developing an Annual Action Plan to tell HUD and residents how we plan to spend our PY 2015 funds. We would like to hear your comments on how the funds should be spent. Residents may also send comments on or before May 6, 2015 to the City of Missouri City’s Development Services Department at 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, TX 77489 (Attention: Nancy Desobry). Residents may fax their comments to the City at (281) 208-5551.

  7. Family Fun Night

    Think you’ve got what it takes to be the trivia champion? This event will feature round-style trivia, with each round featuring questions from a different category. Categories will span a number of different themes, years, ages, and genres, so make sure you’ve got variety amongst your team members!

    Food and drinks will be available throughout the evening with the trivia rounds beginning promptly at 6:30 PM. Children 5 & up are welcome to participate as part of a team and childcare will be available for children ages 1-4. Registration is limited! Pre-register at the Rec and Tennis Center or by calling 281-403-8637.

  11. Superhero Run

    Missouri City Parks & Recreation is proud to benefit Stand Up 2 Cancer with our first ever 5K, the Superhero Run! The 5K course will begin at the Missouri City Civic Center Complex on Texas Parkway, continue down Buffalo Run to Fondren, with runners finishing the race in Hunter's Trail Park. The event will include an awesome post-race party featuring breakfast and plenty of entertainment for the kids! Costumes are a must for this themed run, so pull out your capes, masks, and superhero swag to support a great cause!

  13. Senior Casino Trip

    Travel with great company as we journey to the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana! Upon arriving to the casino, trip participants will receive a $10 gaming voucher. This trip has limited capacity! To reserve your spot, stop by the Recreation & Tennis Center to pay the $10 transportation fee. On the day of the trip, we will meet at the Recreation & Tennis Center at 7:30 am and leave at 8:00 am.

Separate checks will be issued for each participant.
