  1. Parks Board Meeting

    March 5, 7:00 PM @ Council Chamber, City Hall

    The Parks Board meets on a regular basis on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Board consists of 13 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. This Board serves in an advisory capacity to City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Missouri City residence is required to be a member.   2. Spring Break Camp

    March 9, 7:30 AM - March 13, 5:30 PM @ Rec & Tennis Center

    During this action packed week, campers will enjoy crafts, sports activities, games, nature walks and other fun activities. Please pack your child a lunch each day; we will provide campers with a morning and afternoon snack each day. We’ll be venturing on a Field Trip to the Houston Rodeo on Wednesday, so be sure your camper wears comfortable shoes!

    Registration is required. Please register at the Rec & Tennis Center. A copy of the child’s birth certificate and a parent or guardians’ driver’s license must accompany all registration forms.

  3. Senior Field Trip

    Travel with great company to Brenham, TX! The day will consist of touring 2 Brenham wineries and having lunch downtown (participants must bring additional money for lunch). This trip will include a moderate amount of walking. Limited spots are available! Reserve your spot by signing up at the Rec & Tennis Center.

  4. Spring Break Tennis Camp

    Students are invited to develop their tennis skills during this special Spring Break Camp. All ability levels are welcome and our tennis pros will work with each child to play their best tennis game.

    The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on a regular basis on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public.     This program is for senior citizens (50 & up). Come fellowship with your peers, enjoy breakfast and play competitive rounds of bingo for great prizes! Get your ticket at the Recreation & Tennis Center by paying the $5 program fee.

  10. Trash Off

    Keep our community clean and beautiful by participating in this year's Trash Off! All volunteers will receive breakfast & lunch. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Groups and individuals will be asked to clean sections of various parks around Missouri City. Please wear closed toed shoes and long pants. Pre-registration is encouraged. Register online at www.missouricitygreen.org, drop off the registration form at the Rec & Tennis Center (2701 Cypress Point Drive) or email the registration form to info@missouricitygreen.org.

  11. March Madness Tennis

  12. Mini Mudder

    March 22, 3:00 PM @ Buffalo Run Park

    Trek your way through this muddy and messy obstacle course! Buffalo Run Park will be transformed so children and their parents can experience a rough mud race right here in Missouri City! Participants are encouraged to bring a towel and wear old clothes and athletic shoes. This event welcomes children ages 5-12 and registration is ongoing at the Rec & Tennis Center.

    Are you a food enthusiast? Enjoy meeting new friends? Join us for Senior Foodies! This program for senior citizens (50+), is an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant with great company.

    All participants must RSVP at the Rec & Tennis Center and pay the $5 charter fee. On the day of the event we will meet at the Rec & Tennis Center and ride to The Swinging Door together. Limited spots are available for the bus! Once the bus is full, participants can still join the group at the restaurant. Separate checks will be issued for each participant.

  15. Eggpalooza

    March 27, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Community Park

    Join us for a hoppin’ good time of egg dashes and arts & crafts! Egg dashes will be divided by age groups and held on the Little League fields throughout the evening. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to participate in the egg dashes. Crafts will include sand art, wax hands, spin art, face painting, bead art and more! All activities at this event are free; BBQ & cupcakes will be available for purchase.
