  1. 2015 General Election Early Voting

    April 27 - May 5

    Early voting for the Missouri City May 9, 2015, General Election will begin Monday, April 27, and will last until Tuesday, May 5. Citizens may cast ballots in person at the following early voting locations:

    • Missouri City Community Center
    • Hightower High School
    • Sienna Branch Library
    • Quail Valley Fund Office

  3. Parks Board Meeting

    May 7, 7:00 PM @ Council Chamber, City Hall

    The Parks Board meets on a regular basis on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Board consists of 13 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. This Board serves in an advisory capacity to City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Missouri City residence is required to be a member.   4. Missouri City May 9, 2015 Municipal Election

    May 9, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

    The City of Missouri City will hold a General Election on May 9, 2015. The races for the General Election are for the four district City Councilmembers as follows: •Missouri City District A City Councilmember •Missouri City District B City Councilmember •Missouri City District C City Councilmember •Missouri City District D City Councilmember. The term of office for these positions are for two years from May 2015 to May 2017.

  5. Worm Composting Class

    This will be a family friendly activity that will be fun for adults and kids alike. Composting with worms is easy, fun, odorless and produces a great soil additive.

    Learn how to take your kitchen produce and paper waste and turn it into nutrient rich soil, that is a perfect amendment to any home garden bed, fruit tree orchard, or house plant. Workshop participants will learn how to house, feed, harvest and care for their own worms. Be prepared to roll-up your sleeves and make your own complete worm composting bin to take home!

    Each registration will include one worm composting kit consisting of a 10 gallon container, bedding material and worms (additional worm composting kits may be available to purchase). Make checks payable to Missouri City Green and send with registration form to: Missouri City Green, PO Box 1175, Missouri City, TX 77459. This program for senior citizens (50+), is an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant with great company. For this special Senior Foodies event, all participants will enjoy a presentation and receive a tour of the Sugar Land Regional Airport after lunch!
