Responsibilities & Services
The Missouri City Parks and Recreation Department is a Gold Medal Award-winning department that maintains and operates 20 developed parks totaling 393 acres. The department also maintains the Missouri City Recycling Center.

The Recreation and Tennis Center houses a cardio and weight room, gymnasium, batting cages, multi-purpose rooms, locker rooms and tennis courts.

Additionally, the Parks and Recreation Department has daytime and evening recreational programs and provides numerous special events throughout the year.

Dad & Daughter Dance 2016: A Night in New York City

Attention dads and daughters, get ready for an evening in the Big Apple! Missouri City’s 20th Annual Dad & Daughter Dance will provide the ultimate New York City experience, complete with Central Park carriage rides, Brooklyn Style Pizza, cheesecake, dancing, raffle prizes and the always popular, confetti cannon!

Tickets can be purchased at the Missouri City Recreation & Tennis Center (2701 Cypress Point Drive) or by calling 281-403-8637.
Tickets sold over the phone will be available at the will-call table on the day of the event. Tickets are $30 for father/daughter pair and $25 for each additional daughter. Included in the price is a printed photograph for couples to take home as well as access to the digital version of all photos, which will be emailed after the event.

Join us as we enjoy some of College Station’s finest attractions! Trip participants will be led on a guided tour to check out the recent $450 Million renovations at Kyle Field followed by a visit to the Bonfire Memorial. The spirited trip will conclude with lunch at the Dixie Chicken, a timeless favorite for locals and visitors alike! On the day of the trip, participants should wear comfortable footwear, as there is a heavier amount of walking. Limited spots are available for this trip – register soon at the Rec & Tennis Center!
