Responsibilities & Services
The Missouri City Parks and Recreation Department is a Gold Medal Award-winning department that maintains and operates 20 developed parks totaling 393 acres. The department also maintains the Missouri City Recycling Center.
The Recreation and Tennis Center houses a cardio and weight room, gymnasium, batting cages, multi-purpose rooms, locker rooms and tennis courts.
Additionally, the Parks and Recreation Department has daytime and evening recreational programs and provides numerous special events throughout the year.

Rally for the Cure: Tennis Ladies Doubles

Enjoy a day of tennis while raising awareness for a worthy cause! 100% of funds received from this Ladies Doubles event will go directly to the Rally for the Cure Organization. Each participant will receive important breast cancer health awareness materials, a Rally goody bag items and a one-year subscription to a Condé Nast Magazine of their choice such as SELF or Bon Appétit.

Are you a food enthusiast? Enjoy meeting new friends? Join us for Senior Foodies! This program for senior citizens (50+), is an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant with great company. All participants are encouraged to RSVP at the Recreation & Tennis Center or by calling 281-403-8637. On the day of the event we will meet at the designated lunch location. Separate checks will be issued for each participant.
