Missouri City Parks Foundation
The Missouri City Parks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed in 2016 with a mission to facilitate public and private partnerships and investments to enhance community connectivity, open spaces, and park development to make Missouri City an even greater place to live, work and play. Parks Ambassador Program
Take ownership of your community and assist with keeping our parks and trails pristine! Sign up to be a MCTX Parks Ambassador and receive a schedule, supplies, and swag! To apply or receive additional information, Email Allison Vickery or call 281-403-8639.
Parks Board
The Missouri City Parks Board is a City-appointed board comprised of thirteen members, and responsible for providing input, feedback and advice on Parks and Recreation projects and policy matters. The Parks Board meets the first Thursday of the month. Learn more about the Parks Board and how you can get involved.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Missouri City Parks and Recreation Department provides a number of City-sponsored special events and programs throughout the year. Events provide opportunities for the community to come together, connect with their neighbors, and make lasting memories.
By taking advantage of sponsorship opportunities with the Parks and Recreation Department, your business will be able to maximize exposure to the residents of Missouri City and show your investment within your community. Volunteer Opportunities
Located at the Recreation & Tennis Center, the MCTX Sensory Garden features select plants for visitors to explore all of their senses through the natural world. The garden includes raised garden beds for ease of access while caretaking, as well as three beds that are specifically ADA-accessible.
Local businesses, groups, or individuals are invited to sponsor the efforts to support this wonderful Sensory Garden! Different levels of sponsorship are available as well as continual caretaking opportunities. View Sensory Garden Sponsorship Packet (PDF)
