The Ethics Commission consists of 7 members appointed by the City Council for staggered two-year terms. City residence is required to be a member of this board. Current board members include:

Commission Functions

The Ethics Commission is a seven-person panel of citizens that investigates and recommends appropriate dispositions of ethics complaints against City officials, in accordance with Article IX of the City Code. The term “ethics” refers to a set of principles that elected and other municipal officials must follow. The Commission investigates complaints on a case-by-case basis.
