The City of Missouri City posts legal and public notices as required by State Law. The City posts notices on the City’s website (see below) and in the City’s official newspaper.

Bid Opportunities The City of Missouri City utilizes both the State of Texas Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) and Onvia/Demandstar, to provide ESBD and/or Demandstar bidders with automatic notification and transmittal of bid solicitations. In addition, ESBD provides access to bid opportunities with other State of Texas universities and governmental entities, at no charge.

Notice is hereby given for a public hearing to take place at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Missouri City, Texas to be held on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at: Missouri City Council Chamber, 1522 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, Texas, 77489.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments on the vacation, abandonment or closure of a portion of (1) East Hampton Circle between the Fondren Park residential subdivision and the northeastern driveway of the Southwest Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 1 facility and (2) Kathy Avenue north of East Hampton Circle. 

Any member of the public has the right to appear at the public hearing and present evidence for or against the vacation, abandonment or closure of a portion of (1) East Hampton Circle between the Fondren Park residential subdivision and the northeastern driveway of the Southwest Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 1 facility and (2) Kathy Avenue north of East Hampton Circle.
