City to Offer Debris Pick Up in MCTX Subdivisions in Harris County & Restricted Access Neighborhoods

FEMA announced federal emergency aid has been made available to individuals/business owners who sustained losses in Fort Bend & Harris counties during this winter storm. Eligible individuals can apply by calling 1-800-621-3362 or 1-800-462-7585.

The City is contracting with WCA Waste Corp. to establish debris pick up for #MCTX residents in Harris County and residents citywide who live in restricted access communities.


To ensure pick up, residents must place their winter storm debris at the curb by 7 a.m. on the next four Saturdays: March 6, 13, 20 & 27.


For details on what items are considered debris and to see if your neighborhood is part of the new WCA debris service contract, please call their customer service at 281403.5800.


Missouri City citizens who are in non-restricted Fort Bend County neighborhoods, must schedule debris pick up through the County by calling 281.238.3499 or emailing WinterDebris@fortbendcountytx.gov.

Fort Bend County will begin its winter debris pick up on Monday, March 1 and will last through Sunday, March 14. Residents should call 281-238-3499 or email Fort Bend County at WinterDebris@fortbendcountytx.gov with details including name, address and phone number to schedule a pick up. For additional details on acceptable items, see flyer below.

The City will host water distribution tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. at the following locations:


  • City Hall Complex: 1522 Texas Parkway

  • Fire Station 2: 12043 McLain Blvd.

  • First United Methodist Church: 3900 Lexington Blvd.

  • While supplies last, first come first serve. Social distancing required, no walk-ups.
