At their Tuesday, Jan. 21 Regular Meeting, Councilmembers authorized the purchase of a sign preemption system for emergency vehicles through the BuyBoard cooperative purchasing program; authorized the purchase of replacement Fire Department safety breathing air packs; authorized the City to accept competitive offers from retail energy providers and authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute a contract for the purchase of electricity. Here is a rundown of all Council actions at the meeting:

Recognized Margo Webb as the 2019 Municipal Volunteer Program volunteer of the year.
Recognized WCA for a random act of kindness during the holiday season.
