At their Monday, June 1 Virtual Regular Meeting, Councilmembers approved an ordinance disannexing a 34.16-acre tract of land located north of the Sienna Steep Bank Village residential subdivision, south of McKeever Road, east of Sienna Parkway, and west of Westpoint Estates residential subdivision; authorized the renewal of infrastructure technology (IT) annual software subscriptions and hardware maintenance services for the life of the solution; authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute an interlocal agreement between the City of Missouri City and the Harris County Flood Control District for the installation and maintenance of flood gauge stations. Presentations and Recognitions:
- With hurricane season beginning on June 1, Staff presented hurricane preparedness information and tips, including updates on a possible storm in the Gulf of Mexico.
Consent Agenda:
- Approved the minutes of the special City Council meetings of May 14, May 15, and May 26 and the special and regular City Council meetings of May 18.
- Approved an ordinance amending the project and financing plan for Tax Increment Reinvest Zone (TIRZ) Number Three, City of Missouri City, Texas.
- Approved an ordinance disannexing a 34.16-acre tract of land located north of the Sienna Steep Bank Village residential subdivision, south of McKeever Road, east of Sienna Parkway, and west of Westpoint Estates residential subdivision.
- Amended an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute and the city secretary to attest, respectively, the development agreement between the City of Missouri City and Sienna 325, L.P. for the development of property located north of the Sienna Steep Bank Village residential subdivision, south of McKeever Road, east of Sienna Parkway, and west of Westpoint Estates residential subdivision for residential uses.
- Authorized the renewal of infrastructure technology (IT) annual software subscriptions and hardware maintenance services for the life of the solution.
Authorizations:
- Authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute an interlocal agreement between the City of Missouri City and the Harris County Flood Control District for the installation and maintenance of flood gauge stations.
- Authorized a parkland dedication proposal for Vrindavan Resorts.
- Authorized a parkland dedication proposal for Parkway Crossing Phase 1.
