Today is Nov. 3 #2020 Election Day!


In the run up to polling day, Fort Bend County's early voting numbers were the second highest among the State's most populous urban counties and surpassed the total turnout from the 2016 general election. If you haven't voted yet, make a plan to cast your ballot from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.

The positions on the ballot for the 2020 Missouri City General Election are for Mayor, At-Large Position #1 and At-Large Position #2 and the candidates on the ballot in order is as follows:


  • Fred G Taylor
  • Robin J. Elackatt
  • Yolanda Ford

       Councilmember At-Large Position #1

  • Vashaundra Edwards
  • Reginald Pearson

       Councilmember At-Large Position #2

  • Chris Preston
  • James Mable
  • Lynn Clouser

Residents will also decide on the Missouri City Special Election, which includes the proposition providing for or against the adoption of the firefighters’ and police officers’ civil service system. To read an FAQ on this proposition Click Here.
