Missouri City residents and business owners who have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic are encouraged to apply for CARES Act funding.
The City has launched the following programs to help alleviate economic suffering in the community:
- Rent, Mortgage and Utility (RMU) grants of up to $2,500 per month are available to individual residents;
- Small Business Lease/Mortgage Assistance grants of up to $20,000 are available for qualifying businesses;
- Small Business Payroll Reimbursement Assistance grants of up to $20,000 are also available.
Funding is dispensed on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be distributed until Dec. 30 or the monies are exhausted, whichever comes first. Applicants are urged to file their paperwork immediately in order to beat the deadline.
