At their Monday, April 19 Virtual Regular Meeting, Councilmembers administered the oath of office to members of the Texas Parkway/Cartwright Corridor Development Advisory Committee; authorized a joint election agreement and contract for elections services with Harris County for the May 1, 2021 special election; authorized a contract with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for an Emergency Rental Assistance Grant; and authorized the city manager to negotiate and execute licenses for locating mobile food units (food trucks) on certain City property. The next Regular City Council Meeting is on Monday, May 3 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 1522 Texas Parkway. This in person meeting is open to public with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
