2021 State of the City: Our Mission, Our Vision & Our Future

Happening

MCTX Mayor Robin J. Elackatt will highlight the Show Me City’s vision, mission and future at the 2021 State of the City on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Community Center located in the City Hall Complex, 1522 Texas Pkwy.

This will be Mayor Elackatt’s inaugural State of the City and his annual address will feature presentations from City Councilmembers and staff. “We are looking forward to celebrating our premier City event again in person and on our main campus,” said Mayor Elackatt. “The 2021 ceremony is being hosted in the evening so that we may engage and accommodate the schedules of more citizens, stakeholders and businesses. We’re very excited to share updates on economic development, fiscal management, public safety, infrastructure improvements, the City Manager search, community outreach and many other priorities.”

Mayor Elackatt and City Council will also host a post-event reception for guests afterward in the City’s beautiful Visitors Center, featuring an art gallery and other MCTX displays.

Individual tickets are $40. Seats are limited for this gala event, so pre-registration and pre-payment is encouraged to reserve spots. Companies and individuals interested in reserving a table may do so by being a sponsor and may choose from the following levels: Presenting Sponsor $5,000, Gold $2,500, Silver $1,500 and Bronze $1,000. “This is going to be a wonderful evening to honor the ‘Show Me City’ and our great legacy of leadership,” Mayor Elackatt said. “We value the partnerships we have with all of our constituencies and we cannot wait to share our milestones and successes with the community at-large.”
