At the Monday, May 2 In-Person Regular Meeting in the Community Center, Councilmembers proclaimed May 1-7 as Hurricane Preparedness Week and Public Service Recognition Week; proclaimed May 15-21 as National Police Week; recognized Thurgood Marshall High School Mighty Stampede Band and Band Director Darwin Lewis for their “Superior” UIL Rating; and recognized Mike Harris for providing outstanding customer service.
