At the Monday, June 5 Regular Meeting, council members authorized the purchase of tasers from Axon Enterprise; authorized an interlocal agreement with the Harris County Department of Education for cooperative purchasing services; and approved amending the adopted pay plan for full-time non-exempt personnel and exempt personnel, excluding Civil Service fire personnel and police personnel and appointed employees. Presentations & Recognitions
- Administered Oath of Office to Presiding Judge Debra Sinclair, Associate Judge Katherine Parsley, and Associate Judge Chuck Silverman.

Consent Agenda
- Approved (7-0) the minutes of the Special City Council meetings on May 5, May 6 and May 15 and the Regular City Council meeting of May 15.
- Authorized (7-0) the City Manager to execute an Interlocal Agreement for water, wastewater and stormwater operation and maintenance services with Quail Valley Utility District (QVUD) in various service areas within the city.
- Authorized (7-0) the purchase of tasers from Axon Enterprise in an amount not to exceed $409,482.
- Authorized (7-0) the City Manager to execute a three-year contract with Brenntag Southwest, Inc., for the purchase of chemical use in the City’s Surface Water Treatment Plant, in an amount not to exceed $311,661.
- Authorized (7-0) an interlocal agreement with the Harris County Department of Education for cooperative purchasing services.
Ordinances
- Approved (7-0) an ordinance on the second and final reading amending Ordinance No. O-23-16 providing the adopted pay plan for full-time non-exempt personnel and exempt personnel, excluding Civil Service fire personnel and police personnel and appointed employees; providing an effective date; providing for repeal; and providing for severability.
- Approved (7-0) an ordinance on the second and final reading to zone approximately 5,000 square feet of lease space to SUP (Specific Use Permit) to allow for the location of a place of assembly, church and an event center; and to the extent such zoning deviates from the Future Land Use and Character map of the Comprehensive Plan, to provide for an amendment therefrom; providing for repeal; providing a penalty; providing for severability.
Resolutions
- Approved (7-0) a resolution authorizing and approving membership in the cities served by SiEnergy Coalition; suspending the June 9, 2023, effective date of the statement of intent by SiEnergy, LP to increase rates within Missouri City; and containing certain provisions relating to the subject.
Closed Executive Session
- Texas Government Code, Section 551.074 – To deliberate the duties of the City Manager and City Secretary.
