The new Recreation and Tennis Center will open its doors on Saturday, July 14 with an event-filled day and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new center offers residents fitness and cardio rooms, a Kids’ Zone, full-size gym and multi-purpose room as well as tennis courts. The Tennis and Recreation Center is located at 2701 Cypress Point Dr.
Annual membership fees will be as follows:

Tennis court usage fees are: General Public court time—$6 per 90 minutes

In addition, current members of the existing Community Center will receive six months of free membership at the new Tennis and Recreation Center to reward their loyalty.
Council members approved naming the new Community Center at the Quail Valley Golf Course as the City Centre at Quail Valley. The facility is nearing completion with the installation of the main entry. The City Centre at Quail Valley features a 300-seat banquet room for weddings, tournaments and other special events, meeting rooms for residents, businesses and visitors and a donor recognition wall. No date has been set for the opening.
City Council members also recently authorized the purchase of security equipment for both facilities through the State’s cooperative purchasing contract for $45,710.08.
