In 2008, an overwhelming 72 percent of Missouri City residents voted to approve a $17.5 million bond referendum to fund two essential parks projects—the Quail Valley Golf Course, which includes the City Centre at Quail Valley, and the Recreation and Tennis Center. In addition to the bond funds, the City received a $950,000 grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Association for the Recreation and Tennis Center project. We are pleased to report that both new facilities are operational and have received rave reviews from residents and visitors.
Citizen input and feedback was integral to the development of the projects.
