The Parks Board meets on a regular basis on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Board consists of 13 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. This Board serves in an advisory capacity to City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Missouri City residence is required to be a member.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a dynamic martial art that

The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on a regular basis on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Commission consists of 9 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. Missouri City residence is required to be a member. Missouri City Television rebroadcasts regular meetings.
City offices are closed on Friday, December 23, 2022 for Christmas Eve. If a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed.
